Going All Saints with St Moritz Solaris, Mont' Kiara

Awesome English Breakfast set (served during lunch too) atop Cold Storage Solaris Mont' Kiara. The place is called St. Moritz and they serve really nice breakfast sets for only RM9.90 and other lunch sets as well. Allow the pictures to do the talking as I'm drooling all over already. Hehe ;)

Only at:

Steamy Fish @ Lan Je Rawang

Yummy Fish Galore @ Rawang. Lan Je Restaurant in Rawang serves very nice fish dishes, and to top it all, it's 1 person 1 fish! Woah! Please be hungry when you head there cuz the only thing I needed right after that were digestion salts! hahaha!

The tilapia fish is best served steamed, with ginger, garlic and soy sauce! Here's the details of this place:

Lan Je Steamed Fish
27-28, Block C, Jalan Rawang
Gerai MPS, Batu 16
Rawang

Driving there is a lil' bit complicated as I had my gps set accordingly but it took me in and out of the complexes and led us further to the streets. Also, one thing to note, there are other restaurants with the name '... Je' so don't be sucked into thinking they had their name changed or something. LoL. The place may need an uplift to their environment but food is served hot and awesome, so minus-ing all that, it's still all good :)
You can also order other dishes to go along with that fine fish dish, something like:

Sweet and Sour chicken (yeah, they don't serve pork here) ..

and 4angled beans vege to boot!~

Nasi Kukus @ Damansara Heights

Nasi Kukus is steamed rice in Malay and this particular dish comes with a hearty serving of fried chicken, sambal, beef rendang and curry! All this for only RM5! Speaking of which, I might be dropping by for nasi kukus for lunch one of these days too. It should be taken with a good appetite, when you feel like eating a whole cow la (figure of speech puhleeze!).. haha! Situated opposite the CIMB Bank of Damansara Heights and nestled beside a police station, one can only sweat with the heat of the scorching sun or from the trauma that the cops could issue a summon on your car for illegal parking there! hehe...

Anyways, here are the long awaited photos of the ever famous Nasi Kukus!

Malay, Thai and Chinese cuisine @ Serai, The Empire Shopping Mall

Sometimes, with a little extra that you pay for meals, is certainly worth the while as the service given to you may be fantastic in return. I certainly enjoyed my visit at Serai. Ordered a bowl of Tom Yum Seafood Noodles and asked the waitress for sweet sauce to go along with the dish. For RM15, I don't think the price of which was exaggerated, for they did not have any sweet sauce to offer me, so they replaced it with soy sauce with red chillis instead. I thought for a while, oh well, I can't have it all, but 5 mins later, the waitress returned, with a saucer of sweet sauce which they have went out to buy for my sake. I was touched. She asked me if the taste wasn't adequate, or rather whether it was unsalty. I replied with a smile, which doesn't really happen often these days, and told her it was alright but I was craving more for sweet sauce to go with the tom yum that's all. She said it was an interesting approach and that perhaps next round they should have that on the menu! Wow....... Awesome service and a great mark of respect to their customers' feedback. The rest of the menu pay be a lil' costly but I believe there will be more visits back there...

Also, since we're touching on Empire Shopping Mall, one can also find nice 'lam mee' at 'Lameeya'. I went for the mushroom lam mee the other day and it was quite alright too. For less than RM10 a bowl, I believe there will be more visits there for me in future especially if I do drop by for lunch. These days, my lunch costs me around RM10-RM15 on average. Nothing is cheap these days but if service do come with a smile, it'll be netting me back to the restaurant then and again.

Alrighty then, it's been a long and tiring week for me but I believe eating right is substantially essential. I'm getting tummy upsets already from eating the wrong food today! Hopefully it doesn't take me more than 6 rounds of visit to the loo!
